Logic behind this is : IN Windows above names are researved words and you cann't create folder or file with above name. Once you will create the folder nobody will be able to delete it in normal way. I have tested it with XP 2000 and 2003. Windows 98 is currently not available to me for testing. If you can test it on Windows 98 then please do it and let me know the result. I expect it to work.

Open Zip files in Pc if u dont have winzip software installed..

A SMS once deleted can’t be read again….but sometimes we hurrily delete some important SMS

Here is the technique that must be followed to retrieve deleted SMS.

Required utility:

1) Any system explorer or file explorer program (eg. fileman or fexplorer.provided with the package)

Step 1) Open Fexplorer

Step 2) Select drive C: or D: depending on the memory in which the Sms messages have been saved.

Step 3) For example u selected c: , Then open “system” folder.

step 4) Then in “system” folder open “mail” folder.

step 5) Then in this folder u will see different folders (eg 0010001_s) and certain files (eg 00100000). These files are the actual messages. Browse through every folder and open all files till u get the sms u are looking for.

Step 6) For opening the files don’t choose options>file>open as it will show format not supported rather choose options>file>hex/text viewer. By selecting the “Hex/ text viewer” u ll be able to open and read the deleted SMS message

This will reduce the time XP waits before automatically closing any running programs when you give it the command to shutdown.

Go to Start then select Run

Type 'Regedit' and click ok

Right click and select 'Modify'

Change the value to '1000'

There can be many reasons for folder option not vsible as user rights problem. To sort it out log on using administrator and password for it if there is any. Then check If folder option is availabe.

Other reason for folder option not visible may be a virus like [w32.rongtok@mm]. To check whether ur infected go to start run and type regedit and check if registry editor opens if it does not open then ur infected with any virus like I mentioned above.

If you have identified the particular program that is part of the malware, and you want to remove it, please follow these steps.

1. Download and extract the Autoruns program by Sysinternals to C:\Autoruns
   
   
2. Reboot into Safe Mode so that the malware is not started when you are doing these steps. Many malware monitor the keys that allow them to start and if they notice they have been removed, will automatically replace that startup key. For this reason booting into safe mode allows us to get past that defense in most cases.
   
   
3. Navigate to the C:\Autoruns folder you created in Step 1 and double-click on autoruns.exe.
   
   
4. When the program starts, click on the Options menu and enable the following options by clicking on them. This will place a checkmark next to each of these options.
   
   
   1. Include empty locations
      
      
   2. Verify Code Signatures
      
      
   3. Hide Signed Microsoft Entries
      
      
5. Then press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the startups list using these new settings.
   
   
6. The program shows information about your startup entries in 8 different tabs. For the most part, the filename you are looking for will be found under the Logon or the Services tabs, but you should check all the other tabs to make sure they are not loading elsewhere as well. Click on each tab and look through the list for the filename that you want to remove. The filename will be found under the Image Path column. There may be more than one entry associated with the same file as it is common for malware to create multiple startup entries. It is important to note that many malware programs disguise themselves by using the same filenames as valid Microsoft files. it is therefore important to know exactly which file, and the folder they are in, that you want to remove.
   
   
7. Once you find the entry that is associated with the malware, you want to delete that entry so it will not start again on the next reboot. To do that right click on the entry and select delete. This startup entry will now be removed from the Registry.
   
   
8. Now that we made it so it will not start on boot up, you should delete the file using My Computer or Windows Explorer. If you can not see the file, it may be hidden.
   
   
9. When you are finished removing the malware entries from the Registry and deleting the files, reboot into normal mode as you will now be clean from the infection.

In order to remove the newfolder.exe virus you can use two types of tools, the tools mentioned below are much better:

5. At one ore two places you will find it after explorer.exe in theses cases only delete the regsvr.exe part and not the whole part. E.g. Shell = “Explorer.exe regsvr.exe” the just delete the regsvr.exe and leave the explorer.exe

4. Seek And Destroy the enemy soldiers, no one should be left behind

1. Click on start->search->for files and folders.
2. Their click all files and folders
3. Type “*.exe” as filename to search for
4. Click on ‘when was it modified ‘ option and select the specify date option
5. Type from date as 1/31/2008 and also type To date as 1/31/2008
6. Seek and destory enemy soldiers: the search option
7. Now hit search and wait for all the exe’s to show up.
8. Once search is over select all the exe files and shift+delete the files, caution must be taken so that you don’t delete the legitimate exe file that you have installed on 31st January.
9. Also selecting lot of files together might make your computer unresponsive so delete them in small bunches.
10. Also find and delete regsvr.exe, svchost .exe( notice an extra space between the svchost and .exe)

5. Time For Celebrations

1. Now do a cold reboot (ie press the reboot button instead) and you are done.

Soon all antivirus programs will be able to automatically detect and clean this virus.

In some antivirus they are detected as W32/YahLover.Worm.gen from McAfee Antivirus and Win32/Autorun.R.worm from NOD32

You are almost done, reboot your PC.

Go Start Menu and click the Run and type the REGEDIT command. Take note guys before make any changes into your Registry Editor you must make a full back-up to your registry to avoid system errors. :)

Look the location entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, if you see an entry Yahoo! Messengger (it’s spelled like this) with a value c:\windows\system32\scvhost.exe, Delete this entry.

Look the location entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, in the entry named: SHELL, a value = Explorer.exe,SCVHOST.EXE. Edit this value, delete the SCVHOST.EXE only and the value must be Explorer.exe. Once you delete all this value, your computer will not login anymore.

We are now done. Please Restart your PC now.

Hey Guys just follow thse simple steps and change the name of your Recycle Bin(where temporarely deleted files are stored)
1)Goto 'start' menu and Choose 'Run' command.
2)Type 'regedit' (without inverted commas). U will see Registery Editor Window on Ur Screen. 3)Now, On the Left Hand Side of the Window you'll see a Tree of folders Just DoubleClick on the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder>Now in the new folder Tree DoubleClick on the 'Software' folder > then DoubleClick on 'Microsoft' folder>'Windows' folder>'Current Version' folder>'Explorer' folder>'CLSID' folder.
4)Now, You will see a Tree of 3 or 4 folder(don't worry about the no. of folders). Just Click on the folder : '{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}'.
5)Finally, after Clicking on '{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}' folder Goto the Right Hand Side of the Same window and
Double Click On the Default Option and Write in the name You want for Your Recycle Bin e.g. :- Trash #. CLick O.K. button. Goto Your Desktop and Refresh the Desktop and See the magic. Your Recycle Bin has been Renamed.

Open notepad and type this:

The following is a guide on how to change your IP in 30 seconds or less. This can be used if your IP has been banned from a game server, or on gunbound if your IP get's blocked. I've tried this on both Windows XP and Windows 2000, and it has worked:

1. Click on "Start" in the bottom left hand corner of screen

14. Hit the "okay" button again

You should now be back to the "Local Area Connection" screen.

15. Right-click back on "Local Area Connection" and go to properties again.
16. Go back to the "TCP/IP" settings
17. This time, select "Obtain an IP address automatically"
18. Hit "okay"
19. Hit "okay" again
20. You now have a new IP address

With a little practice, you can easily get this process down to 15 seconds.

*Note* This only changes your dynamic IP address, not your ISP/IP address. If you plan on hacking a website with this trick be extremely careful, because if they try a little, they can trace it back.

In areas where you are trying to restrict what users can do on the computer, it might be beneficial to disable the ability to click on My Computer and have access to the drives, control panel etc.

To disable this:
1.Open RegEdit
2.Search for 20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D
3.This should bring you to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID section
4.Delete the entire section.
Now when you click on My Computer, nothing will happen.
You might want to export this section to a Registry file before deleting it just in case you want to enable it again. Or you can rename it to 20D0HideMyComputer4FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D. You can also hide all the Desktop Icons, see Change/Add restrictions.

1. click start > run
